Vintage 80s pleated black & turquoise silk dress by French brand Torrente, Haute Boutique line. The dress has a fitted bodice that flares at the skirt level with by 3 layers of silk that create beautiful volume & movement. It falls below the knee and features a V-neckline, long sleeves and subtle shoulder pads to structure the silhouette. It is crafted from fine, soft black silk with a somptuous pleated texture. The black dress is embellished with a wide pleated turquoise silk belt, adorned with a sculptural 3D flower, as well as a matching turquoise ruffle along the hem of the skirt. The silk dress fastens with a central back zipper & also features zippers at the lower sleeves. Fully lined. A rare and dramatic vintage Torrente piece.
